The LondonSEO Big Party at SES London 2011

by Rob Kerry - Posted on

SearchmetricsIt seems like just yesterday, but it was 5 years ago that LondonSEO held its first Big Party for SES London. We made many new friends at the 2006 event and look forward to making many more at this year’s get-together. Check out the fantastic Moss Bros suit I was sporting back then πŸ˜‰

LondonSEO is, and always will be, about having fun and making new friends + business contacts. No bullshit – just great conversation and happy memories.

Search Engine Strategies London will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre this year in Westminster, so we’ll be moving to a new pub close to the SES venue.

We’re also delighted to announce that this year’s sponsor of the Big Party will be Searchmetrics, who offer a suite of SEO Software for SME’s and Blue Chips alike. They’ll be putting their card behind the bar for many hundreds of pints, so please say hello to them and take a look at their service offering.

Now here are the details that you’re looking for…

As always no conference pass is required in order to attend LondonSEO, just bring along a business card to exchange for your beer pass. Whether you’re attending SES London 2011 or just looking to enjoy some search marketing banter over beer, you’re always welcome at LondonSEO.

  1. Rob,

Maybe I’ll give everyone the Moss Bros suit treatment this year! Only joking, just the thought of wearing a suit gives me a rash πŸ™‚

Looking forward to catching up with the LondonSEO crowd, drinking real beer and eating a packet of genuine, Walkers cheese & Onion crisps. Class!!

    Cheers!

    Mike.

  2. Hoorah! Looking forward to it. If you bring along several business cards, can you exchange them all for beer tokens, and is a Moss Bros suit a prerequisite for entry ? πŸ˜‰

    1. 1 business card = unlimited beer / house wine / soft drinks for you πŸ™‚

A Moss Bros suit and lavender formal shirt is completely optional. As is a green wristband, a Danny Sullivan in a wax jacket, a considerably younger looking Rand Fishkin and an Ekky in a controversial white t-shirt πŸ˜€

      1. My friend I am sick at home with this flu doing the rounds – so I will not be attending myself now – gutted as it feels like an age since I caught up with everyone.

  3. What about if you don’t use business cards any more, have gone all hi-tech and use “Bump”. I can always get a bunch of cards printed by Vistaprint……

Look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday.

I owe you a beer anyway Rob from last time I saw you in Vegas.

    1. I forgot that you owe me a beer πŸ˜‰

If you don’t have a business card, you can write down your name, email and website on a piece of paper. Otherwise we won’t know who attended and how many πŸ™‚
